BAUER Electronics Inc. has been in the Industrial Electronic Research & Development field since 1980. Until 1988 the company was managed under the name of J.B. Electronics. BAUER Electronics Inc was born in 1989 and purchased the assets of J.B. Electronics including servicing the existing J.B Electronics customers as well as honoring any warranties still outstanding.

BAUER Electronics Inc. 's prime business is Industrial Electronic Research & Development but also manufactures and maintains its own products. Some companies BAUER Electronics Inc. has worked with in the past include, Closed Circuit TV Corporation, ADT, WonderBra, Philips, Ballin, Gildan, Westburn, Boomerang, Maestrovision, Serinor etc. Since 1989 BAUER Electronics Inc. has had great success with its Professional Billiard parlor Controller (P.B.C.) Software and Hardware product which has been sold across Canada and the USA. Since 1998 BAUER Electronics Inc. has also had success with its Industrial Lighting Controller (I.L.C.) Software and Hardware product.

Since 2002 BAUER Electronics Inc. has designed, manufactured and sold an innovative High Tech, 2 Way, Long Range, Motorcycle Alarm System conceived for high end motorcycles such as Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Recently BAUER Electronics Inc. has designed and manufactured a competitively priced Professional Tanning Controller (P.T.C.)Software and Hardware product for the Tanning Salon industry. In addition to the products that BAUER Electronics Inc. manufactures and maintains, the company has added limited PIC Micro-Controller software design and consulting services.
